LED MOD: LEDs are fully addressable and can be turned off by lowering the brightness all the way. Please refer to the picture in listing for instructions on how to control the LEDs or you can also refer to
this video. If you plan on buying an LED Mod, you should choose transparent membranes. The LEDs can be seen through grey membranes and solid buttons, but that may not be the best visual option.
AUDIO AMPLIFIER: Audio amplifier is installed on the board along with a brand new 2W speaker to ensure they work together in the best way possible.
There are no touch pads for this screen. They have been removed due to potential accidental presses. Soldering has been done to make an On Screen Display Menu with all available settings fully operational. If you message ahead of time, you can request for touch pads to be left on.
OSD Menu Operation:
Press the Select+L+R buttons for 1 second at the same time, then release the buttons to activate the OSD Menu.
Press the Select button to select the adjustment item when OSD Menu activated.
Press the L or R button to adjust the item when OSD Menu activated.
LCD has 8 built in color modes, 4 pixel effects and 15 levels of brightness. The OSD adjusts the following items:
Brightness Level (15 levels available)
Color Mode (8 available)
Pixel Effects (4 available: Normal, Retro Pixel, Scanline 1, Scanline 2)
Factory Reset
Testing: This console goes through multiple stages of testing. This includes verifying all buttons and sound are working and that Gameboy, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance games are able to play properly. This is finalized with an hour long aging cartridge burn in test.
