The turbocharger is the heart of every turbocharged engine. The exhaust gases drive the turbocharger's turbine wheel and compress it on the compressor side; this is where the effect of heat expansion is used. Unfortunately, the radiant heat from the engine or the turbocharger also heats up the newly sucked in air, which reduces the effectiveness of the turbocharger. As a rule, turbocharged vehicles are equipped with an intercooler, but these are often very small and often reach their limits when tuning the engine.

These pipes replace the plastic piping between the turbocharger and the intercooler, as well as the plastic piping between the intercooler and the throttle body. The original parts are very restrictive and limit the airflow.
