A very rare original 1970s FRANK FRAZETTA linen paper poster of his painting 'The Brain' which was also made famous as the cover of the Nazareth album Expect No Mercy.

Printed by the Wisconsin-based Worldbeaters company in 1970 and sold through mail order in the fantasy comics and magazines of the day. The poster has a Worldbeaters stamp on the back. The linen paper means the poster has a feelable texture that makes it look much more like a painting than a flat poster.

Measures 79cm x 46cm.

I bought an entire unused set of these about 20 years ago in the US. This poster is in excellent condition and has no pin holes and has never been framed, It does however have mild signs of blue tack where a friend temporarily stuck some of them to a wall for a photo shoot. So the wear from it is very mild. Please see photos.
