Description

An early Meiji era Japanese Kutani single gourd bottle vase, made from a hard paste porcelain overpainted with flowers and a single bird, finished with an iron red colour, the only trace of gilding is to the red border around the foot, has a couple of minute losses to the red colour at the neck and a firing mark to the body, has a three character mark to the base which I cannot find, overall a good looking vase that displays well.​
