-This is not a newly printed map--this is a vintage original.

-Cartographer is the legendary Erwin Raisz.

-Published in 1957 (Sixth revised edition).

-BIG! Measures around 41.5" wide by 27" high.

-This map was deaccessioned about 5 years ago by a major university map library. It appears that the map was originally produced folded. It was stored flat at the library, and later stored rolled by me.

-Condition:

• Please study the photos carefully--they help to describe the map's condition.
• Foxing in the lower left quarter of the map--mostly along folds and the edges. Clearly seen in the photos.
• Some failing along certain folds. Clearly seen in the photos.
• Tear in the lower right corner.
• A few minor chips along the map's edge--nothing unexpected in a map of this age.
• Small notation in pencil on back of map: "HR 50".

-I will ship the map rolled--well wrapped and padded--in a square cardboard mailing tube.
