Up for the auction is a beautiful antique/ vintage early 20th century Chinese embroidered silk panel.
On a light cream silk background material embroidered in bright multicolored silk threads using fine satin stitches.
The embroidery features a village scene with a fisherman fishing in a boat on a river and another man's figure walking on a bridge across that river; the group surrounded with trees and plants.
Has a later brocade silk border.
Lined with a later light olive silk lining.
Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures!
The embroidery together with the brocade border measures 22 2/8" (56.4 cm) long x 11.5" (29.2 cm) wide; 19 1/8" (48.5 cm) long x 8 2/8" (20.8 cm) wide the embroidery itself without the border.
Condition: very good antique/ vintage condition with no visible damages or imperfection.
