This is a reissue of the 1964 spec 4001 model with pickups and other changes.
The rear pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan SRB-1b and the bridge has been replaced with a genuine one (the saddle remains the same). The original pickups are not included.
The frets have been fretted. Fret height is generally low and flat.
The pickup fence has been removed and is missing. The metal parts around the rear pickup have slightly sharp corners, so please be careful when playing.
The paint has peeled off extensively near the neck on the right side of the back of the body, exposing the wood.
There are dents on the head, scratches and dings on the body, and scratches and pits on the metal parts.
There are other scuffs and scratches, but the condition is good.
