This product is the first ever two-mode version of the SCSA, allowing Daisuke Motomiya to switch between real world mode and digital world mode, and the appearance of his partner Digimon and the songs that can be played will change depending on the mode selected.
The game also features a voice input function that allows players to trigger their Digimon to evolve into armor by using their own voice as a trigger, and includes the most evolution phases ever in the SCSA series, with all Digimon having an evolution bank just like in the movie.
After evolving, you can listen to the Digimon's dialogue and activate Digimon Special Moves.
In addition, a narrator (Hiroaki Hirata) provides voice commentary for all 15 Digimon. There are many other functions as well, such as playing back the commentary scene after the Digimon have evolved, as in the movie, and pseudo searching for Digimental.
The two Digimon can communicate with "SCSA D-3 ver. Daisuke Motomiya" and "SCSA D-3 ver. Ken Ichijyoji," and different dialogue will be activated depending on the mode combination when communicating with them. It will also be possible to trigger a jogless evolution to the cross-talking version of Piledramon.
In addition, the final special version of the song "Butter-fly" can be played.
In addition to the main unit, a Digimon Card Game "Daisuke Motomiya & Ken Ichijyoji" card is also included.
The cards are newly drawn illustrations with parallel specifications.
The cards included are the same for both versions.
These cards may be distributed at a later date in promotions related to Digimon Card Game.
