This product is a vintage Chanel barrette made in France in the 1980s. The barrette is goldtone with an oval shape and is decorated with a pearl rope design. It is made of suede and can be used on all hair types. The barrette is suitable for various occasions, including party/cocktail, casual, and formal events. Hi. I tried to take pictures of any cracking or flaking on the clip part.

The Suede has little pieces around the rope where you can see the edge of the Suede.

The gold plaque was at the bottom in the middle. It seems someone sodered the clip back on and managed to melt most of the plaque. The close up photos try to show the last few letters in the word France.  I will be taking offers. Cannot find this item on the internet.  Feel free to ask questions.
