The filters are not suitable for refrigerators that have an internal water filter (bottle or ball type).
A word on the subject of cheap water filters for SBS refrigerators on the internet
Many customers are delighted when they can find a replacement filter online at a fraction of the normal price. The pack of 2, 3 or 6 is quickly ordered. The goods arrive, everything looks fine, the filter is connected and the seller gets a good rating. After a few weeks, then the mishap: the filter burst and the kitchen is flooded. Recently, cheap filters from Asia or Eastern Europe have been appearing on the market that do not meet German quality standards. In addition to the lower pressure resistance, there is also the risk of buying filters with cheap bitumen activated carbon fillings. The absorption rate here is much lower than with activated carbon from coconuts. So don't save at the wrong end, it could get expensive. Only buy from specialist dealers who only offer water filters and who are familiar with the subject. If the seller has many other unrelated items on offer, we advise caution. Technical data of the filters:
flow rate: 283 liters / 24h, max pressure: 6.0 bar, max Temperature: 45 degrees Celsius / lifespan: 6 months / up to 7700 liters. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance ( din 1988), all drinking water filters must be changed after 6 months (to prevent contamination), even if the filter has a larger capacity.
Functionality:
The filters to clean the water from rust, chlorine, organic compounds and sediment. In addition to the activated carbon, the filter has sediment filter inserts. The result is a significant improvement in taste. Hardly any deposits in the water and ice system of your refrigerator.
