Nice vintage friction tin toy from Masudaya MT (Modern Toys) Japan from the 1960's (?). Normal wear associated with play. Please look carefully at the photos included as they are part of the description.
There are a couple of scuffs just above the pilots window, and a small bent spot on the right fuselage which will be easy to straighten. On the fuselage there are two small screws on the top. The one above the cockpit just turns loosely so I'm not sure if it is just not seated properly. The screw near the tail is properly tight. I have not disassembled the plane.
The friction gears turn, but it feels like there is something loose inside and may require some adjustment to function properly. Being sold "as is".
Size in 11" long x 9" wide x 2-1/4" tall.
A very nice display piece.
