In an envelope and with a letter sent from HMS Consort. The letter includes the following comment "I enclose some photos of H.M.S. Consort and the Brittania, which speak for themselves more or less."

Two of the photos have a note written on the reverse, shown in the pictures after the appropriate photo.

The photos are approx 13 cm x 9 cm with a 0.5 cm white border around pictures.
