Martin's top model D-42 is now in stock! It has a citrus spruce top, Indian rosewood side backs, ebony fretboard and bridge, and a shimmering, powerful sound from the forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing! Based on the serial number, it was made in 2014 and has a bruise on the tip of the head, minor scratches, repairs to the binding peeling, and a crack repair at the center of the top about 10cm from the bottom. It is in good playing condition and has excellent playability and sound, so it is a good buy! The main parts such as gold pegs and tortoiseshell pickguard are still original. The head, fingerboard, and bridge are all beautifully inlaid, and the looks of the instrument are very attractive! There are no strap pins on the heel of the neck or pickups installed. The nut width is about 42.9mm, and the angle is ideal with an easy-to-grip grip. There was plenty of room for the truss rod to work. The frets are high enough to ensure a long and safe life in the future. The string height has been adjusted to be about 2.6mm on the 6th string side at the 12th fret and about 1.7mm on the 1st string side for easy holding.
