This model was bought unboxed and in running condition. From my research this model is rare and was a collectors club piece. I’ve had to make many repairs to get this model looking smart, where parts were unavailable I had to make them myself. All the repairs are listed below.

- New loco pick-ups

- New detail steam pipes

- New scratch-made coal load plate

- New scratch-made tender frame box

- New metal rood shutters

- Repainted number on one side

- New regulator rod piece

- Spare details fitted

- New loco to tender plug

- New whistle & scratch-made valve

- Replacement box

The loco has been TESTED and runs well. It has also been given a run-in and oil to moving parts. The running of the motion maybe touch and go and I have done my best to seek out any faults with the smooth running of it, but it runs fine on full power. Due to the fitting of the cylinder drain-cocks it is recommended that the loco runs on anything no tighter than 3rd radius curves.

Spare tension-lock couplings are provided and a spare Accurascale screw-link coupling with animated shackle. If fitting the tension-lock coupling to the loco you will need to prize out the fitted coupling plate as this is blocking the front of the NEM pocket. You don’t need to remove the animated screw-link coupling to fit this as it can be folded back or hooked onto itself.

I am selling this cheaper than the RRP of this loco today, although I am accepting set offers, I’d really appreciate it if you consider the listed price for the locomotive based on what I have had to do to repair this engine.
