Offered for your consideration is this antique lozenge form chatelaine perfume bottle dating circa 1880 and measuring a petite 4 cm in length excluding the suspensory chain and ring. The lay down scent bottle has a lozenge form and is made of ruby red glass. The bottle is fitted with a cork lined sterling silver screw lid which is unmarked but test positive for sterling silver. Attached to the side of the lid is a sterling silver chain and silver ring so that the bottle could be suspended from a chain or chatelaine.
This fine antique miniature scent bottle is offered in very good condition with no chips, cracks or fractures or any marks at all to the glass body and neck. The silver lid fits firmly and securely and has just one teeny ding that is mentioned solely for complete accuracy. Thank you for your interest.
