This is a really cool 1954 No. 10052 Gilbert Erector Rocket Launcher set in the original tin box. I do not know how to tell what actually came with the set but there is quite a bit and it looks like someone took care of the set nicely. Some of the parts you get are:- 1x tin building
- 1x electric motor
- 6x 5.5" slightly curved girders
- 8x 3" curved girders
- 8x 1.5" x 5.5" metal plates
- 4x 1.5" x 3" plates with angle ends
- 4x vehicle wheels
- 7x 12.5" x 3" large metal plates with one edge angled
- 14x brass gears or pulleys
- 8x 3.5" 90° girders
- 18x 5.5" girders
- 12x varied sizes of metal straps
- 6x 2.75"-diameter circular pieces
- 8x 3" girders with 90° bent ends
- 28x 10.5" girders
- 1x 1-3/8"-long cylinder with holes
- 9x metal axles
- 1x crank
- 1x screwdriver
- 5x small red metal connectors
- 2x 1-7/8" x 1" metal plates with 4 angled sides
- 4x 5.5"-long steel frames
- 2x 5.5" x 3" metal plates with angled sides
- 1x large box full of connectors, screws, nuts, bolts, gears, and miscellaneous metal pieces
The only thing missing is the rocket but I'd think that would be an easy piece to find online. The tin box is in very nice condition. It comes with the original manual dated 1954. The first page that is stapled to the cover shows the rocket launcher instructions. The rest of the book is in pretty rough condition.
