Vintage Diver Baylor (Glycine) 3000 feet 100 Atmos rare emerald dial revised '70.
On selling from my old collection a very rare vintage Diver watch 3000 feet.
In USA Zales Jewellery Chain with base in Dallas City was official dealer and importer of Heuer and Glycine Brands and has an own swiss brand for USA retail market socalled Baylor.
During beginning of 70's, Zales jewellery ordered to Glycine a few of diver watches with Glycine internal goldened automatic movement 17 jewels ETA 2472 with personalised rotor and internal back screwed down case signed Glycine but to be put On commerce into USA market with its retail brand Baylor...over Dial.
So we have this amazing watch with oval steel case similar to Blancpain Zenith Zodiac Eberhard and Cyma Divingstar models but the only one tested up to 3000 feet. instead of common 1500.
Case size is 43 mm.s not counting screw in original crown and 50 mm.s high.
Movement has been full revised and tested and work perfectly but not tested for underwater use so keep attention to water.
Dial is very amazing with its sunburst emerald color as shown on photos and it is on mint conditions like Bezel and mineral glass and all the steel case and crown too.
Watch comes with its rare stainless steel bracelet with Baylor raised Logo with all its links expressely made by important JB Champion USA producer more a Nos rubber rare original Tropic strap.

La importante catena di gioiellerie Zales in USA con base a Dallas durante gli anni '70 era importatore dei Marchi Heuer e Glycine e distributore di un suo proprio marchio in USA ma swiss made chiamato Baylor.
Qui abbiamo un modello con rara cassa Diver simile a quelle dei vari modelli Eberhard Zodiac Zenith Blancpain Cyma ma testato, a differenza di questi marchi (500 metri) per ben 3000 ft 1000 metri.
Infatti Zales commissionò a Glycine un lotto di questi orologi diver già pronti a magazzino con movimento 17 rubini Eta 2472 dorato con rotore personalizzato Glycine e interno fondello marcato Glycine ma da commercializzare in USA col proprio brand Baylor sul quadrante.
La cassa è molto bella con la sua ghiera ed il vetro minerale in ottime condizioni così come la corona originale ma non testata per impermeabilità quindi da non immergere in acqua.
Il quadrante è bellissimo verde smeraldo con finitura soleil e in perfette condizioni.
Misure importanti ma portabilissimo per la sua cassa ovale 43 mm. senza corona x 50 mm.
Orologio corredato dal suo bracciale originale con logo Baylor in rilievo con tutte le sue maglie prodotto dalla eccellente JB Champion USA più un cinturino NOS raro in gomma originale Tropic di valore ugualmente importante.
