I custom detailed and painted this Boston & Maine RS-3 #1537 back in the '80s.  As you can see, it has steam generator details, brass horn, drop steps front & rear, grab irons, marker lights and a custom paint job.  I weathered it so it looks like it's seen some mileage, and installed Kadee #5 couplers as well.  In the 90's I added a Digitrax DH150A (non-sound) DCC decoder and recently LED lights.  It's been run quite a bit but is still very smooth and reliable.  I used to be a professional custom painter and have painted thousands of model trains over the years.  This is from my personal collection, which I'm thinning down.  I will look for the manual for the decoder, but it is available online if I can't.  The decoder address is set to the engine number, 1537.
