Up for auction is a Mickey Mouse Golf Trophy that was awarded at the Walt Disney World Oldsmobile Golf Classic in the late 1980's or the early 1990's for winning the PGA Tour ProAm. From other trophies from this event I have seen, I believe it is a third-place trophy.

In my opinion the third place trophy is nicer then the first and second place trophies that are oddly colored.  It also is easier to display because it can fit on a bookshelf or in a display case.

I acquired it at the estate of an accomplished amateur golfer. Unfortunately, the plaque had been removed so I do not know what year he won it. The base of the Mickey Mouse has a copyright date of either 1985 or 1986. The trophy is 13.5" tall and weighs about 3.5lbs.
