Beschreibung
Wunderschönes, edles Antlitz der trauernden Hlg. Maria, Mater Dolorosa.
Dieses ältere Medaillon mit Relief der Muttergottes mit einem Strahlenkranz
ist aus Metall und innen hohl. Es ist nicht magnetische und vermutlich aus Kupfer,
das eine schöne dunkle gleichmäßige Alterspatina bekommen hat. Nur schwach
sieht man noch einen rötlichen Glanz; ebenso sind rückseitig noch vereinzelt
rötliche Stellen zu sehen.
Dieses herrliche Wandbild kann man z.B. auf ein Holzbrett als Wandbild nageln,
oder auch an einem Grabkreuz anbringen. Es hat zwei kleine diskrete Löchlein
für die Anbringung. Denkbar wäre auch die Anbringung auf einem Grabstein
z.B. mit Epoxy, da das Relief innen hohl ist und sich somit füllen lässt.
Zustand:
Sehr guter, sauberer, unbeschädigter Zustand.
Minimale Gebrauchsspuren, die man aber mit bloßem Auge kaum wahrnimmt.
Aus Nichtraucherhaushalt.
Die Bilder sind Teil der Beschreibung, altersgemäßer Zustand wie abgebildet.

Beautiful vintage ⁄ old metal (copper ?) wall picture ⁄ medaillon
with a relief of the Holy Mary ⁄ Mother of Christ.
Picture is in excellent, undamaged, clean condition with
age consistent signs of light use.
The metal is not magnetic, possibly copper.

Our Lady of Sorrows (Latin: Beata Maria Virgo Perdolens), Our Lady of Dolours,
the Sorrowful Mother or Mother of Sorrows (Latin: Mater Dolorosa), and Our Lady of Piety,
Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows or Our Lady of the Seven Dolours are names by which Mary,
mother of Jesus, is referred to in relation to sorrows in life.
As Mater Dolorosa, it is also a key subject for Marian art in the Catholic Church.
