Titanium Thermo is a specially processed titanium material. Titan Thermo coated fibre layer reflects your body generated heat and the warmth created by the brushed lining and the insulation of the ski jacket. A Titan Thermo sheet with special heat retaining properties is inserted in the lining of the fabric of this Descente ski jacket. This sheet allows body moisture/perspiration to move away from the body. Heat is retained inside the jacket, similar to a thermos bottle. It is lightweight and flexible, breathable, allowing moisture to evaporate, and very safe material to the human body and not harmful to the environment.

Descente is the first to use negative ions to enhance sportswear performance. Negative ions are now widely recognized as having a positive effect on both the mind and body. The refreshing feeling that we get while in the forest or by a waterfall is due to the negative ions abundant in such places. They are said to promote blood circulation and have a healing effect on the body. Minerals which generate negative ions are powdered and impregnated into fibers used in the fabric.
