This is a 1953 Chevrolet 6400 truck. It used to be a dually tow truck, now a reliable daily driver with clear Idaho title.

The truck is on its original frame, but modified for suspension.

Engine is a 1986 Chevy 350 with Holley 600 carburetor.

Transmission is a Chevy turbo 400 with Mustang II shifter.

Drive shaft is a 2 piece from a 1986 Chevy G30.

Differential is a Chevy 8.2 with 2.73 gears.

Rear springs are custom made.

Front axle, front springs, and front brakes are from a 1969 Dodge D100 truck.

The steering is a Mustang II rack and pinion.

The gas tank is from a 1949 Dodge D100 truck. 

The rear brakes are from a 1970 Nova.

The steering column is custom made.

Working vintage heater.

The radiator is aluminum and has an electric fan.

The parking brake is from a 1986 Chevy G30. 

All lights and signals work.  The windshield wiper is manual.

Front, rear, and wing window glass are original; door glasses are newer.

The body is solid, a 1" rust hole in the front of the drivers rocker panel, its had previous patches in the floor, I applied Rust-Oleum on the floor, frame, wheel wells, differential, suspension, etc... body has dents (visible in the photos and video), body has been regularly coated with linseed oil the past few years. 

The wheels are from a Jeep Cherokee 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern; the tire tread is 40%.
