1970s Tartan Plaid Green Taffeta Prairie Gown Ruffles, Buttons, and Long Sleeves by Christine Gowns Panorama City

When I first saw this dress I could've sworn it was a 1940s taffeta gown it was so well made. From the 1970's with its high ruffled neck and long sleeves this tartan plaid taffeta gown has contrasting ruffles and checkered patterns and is floor length with large ruffled hem. It makes that wonderful rustling sound you can only hear when wearing real taffeta. A classic prairie gown if I ever saw one.

Even looking at the very few similar gowns on the market this one stands out as truly one of a kind.

Please Note- all items sold are vintage finds sourced from estate sales and thrift stores in the Hollywood area of Southern California.

As they are vintage items it is always a good plan to plan to have the items taken to your local green dry cleaner before wearing.
Some items may be wrinkled from storage.

I do my best to catalog any flaws I find in the description of the item.

I do not accept order cancellations for any reason other than I have not shipped the item in the time I promised

Your purchase helps me continue to fund my artistic work as a photographer in Hollywood California. It also helps me to feed my increasingly finicky cat who now only wants the most expensive cat food
