Another instrument that I bought from a cal. lab. that was sold as "beyond economic repair". All it actually needed to restore the output was for the relay contacts to be cleaned -- a simple job described in detail in the HP service manual.  With labour rates so high it was "BER" for the value of the instrument in commercial terms.  As I bought it with other equipment that I really wanted, it can now find a new home.

I know the difference between "powers up" and working. This is working.

 I only sell equipment "for parts or not working" to comply with the requirements laid down by eBay. If it is not fully tested (to meet the original manufacturers specification) then it cannot be sold as "used" I do not have the information  and/or test jigs etc. to 100% test everything I sell.

Collection is always welcome from Torquay. Payment must be cash on collection.

I only use UPS for expensive equipment as they seem to be the most reliable. The usual geographic restrictions will apply.   Please include a contact number as UPS require one when booking the service.
