This canister is very heavy, glass is very thick, it stands 9 1/2 inches with the BORDEN embossed  lid

 in place. See photo # 1,# 3,# 4and  # .Lid is embossed in 2 places. See 10 th photo

The base diameter is 6 1/2 inches, see photo # 7.The top of the glass is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.See 8 th photo.

Photo  # 9 shows a very small scratch in the glass and a squiggly line in the same photo.Not visible in photo.

The metal lid is 5 3/4 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches to the top of the dome, see photo # 10 th photo. The lid is 

embossed  2 places in script "BORDENS". see photo # !0.The crown of the metal lid has a few bumps, see last photo.

The canister has a  white rectangular 4 X 13/4 inch porcelain label with "BORDENS " in dark  blue script, and " THE IMPROVED

 MALTED MILK " in block letters.See 2 nd and 11 th photo.

This piece is in excellent condition, no chips ,cracks ..
