Vintage Tissot Manual Chronograph 6220-4 (same as Omega Cal 320 or Lemania CH27) - Please Read Below

Dial and Hands
The dial has some marks and is patinaed and faded over time, especially the light blue tachymetre scale. The original lume has fallen out of the minute and hour hands over time. I have left them skeletonised as to have it re-lumed would be out of keeping with the aged look of the watch.

Case
Case and caseback are in stainless steel. It does not appear to have been significantly polished, if at all, as the case lines are still sharp. However, there are multiple scratches and one significant visible chip to the edge of the case by the 10 o'clock position (see photo). The case back is in relatively good condition, especially the inside which has the marking of multiple service marks as well as the case model number of 6220. The pushers depress and spring back as expected. There is also a chip on the inside of one of the lugs, near the lug hole. However, it does not affect the functioning of the lug pins.

Movement
The 17 jewel manual wind movement, even though it is branded Tissot, was made by Lemania. It is a two register chronograph movement and is part of the famous CH27 family of column wheel chronograph movements. The same movement was used in Omegas of the time which Omega named Cal 320. The three register version is the legendary Omega Cal 321 used in the model of Speedmaster that went to the moon. If you compare the movement, the two and three register versions look very similar.

Please note:
While the watch is in good condition given its age (70-80 years old) and keeping good time. There is an issue with the central chronograph seconds hand. It appears to be slightly loose on its stem and does not reset to zero, often over shooting by 2-3 seconds. Please see the video. In all other respects the chronograph functions as expected with the minutes totaliser correctly resetting to zero.
