ILLINOIS OFFICIAL HIGHWAY MAP 1945

This color map is published by the State of Illinois Department of Public Works and Buildings, Division of Highways. Dwight H. Green was Governor at the time.

When folded out this map measures 32-1/2" x 21-1/2". It has printing on both sides.

On the opposite side is a map of Chicago, a map of the Quad cities, a map of St. Louis and E. St. Louis, and smaller maps of Rockford, fold line, Aurora, Joliet, Bloomington, Peoria, Quincy, Champaign-Urbana, Springfield, Decatur, Alton and Danville. There is also an index to city and villages, and points of interest including state parks and monuments, state forest and game preserves, state institutions, historical markers, and colleges and universities.

The map is in good condition with one small tear along the edge of on e of the fold lines. There are a couple of pinhole size blemishes along the fold line intersections within the interior of this piece. Please photos for details.
