Le Parfum de l'invisible est un film d'animation érotique français réalisé par Francis Nielsen, adapté de la bande dessinée éponyme de Milo Manara publiée en 1987.
Maurillo "Milo" Manara, né le 12 septembre 1945 à Luson (dans le Trentin-Haut-Adige en Italie), est un auteur italien de bande dessinée. Ses premières planches professionnelles — des récits érotiques — datent de 1968 et elles lui permettent de financer ses études d'architecture à Venise. Il abandonne son métier d'assistant de sculpteur et publie Genius pour les éditions Vanio. Viennent ensuite les aventures de Jolanda, femme pirate. En 1983, sa carrière prend une nouvelle direction avec Le Déclic qui fait instantanément de lui un des maîtres de la bande dessinée érotique. En 1987, Hugo Pratt devient son scénariste pour Un été indien, expérience qu'ils rééditent sept ans plus tard avec El Gaucho. Un été indien remporte l'Alfred du meilleur album étranger en 1987. Manara continue une production régulière d'histoires érotiques aux éditions Albin Michel mais il participe également à d'autres projets, comme l'illustration de portfolios ou encore la série Borgia avec le scénariste Alejandro Jodorowsky.
En 2016, il est lauréat du grand prix Saint-Michel pour l'ensemble de son œuvre4 et, en 2019, lors du festival international de la bande dessinée d'Angoulême, une exposition retrace son œuvre.

Le Parfum de l'Invisible is a French erotic animated film directed by Francis Nielsen, adapted from the eponymous comic book by Milo Manara published in 1987.
Maurillo "Milo" Manara, born September 12, 1945 in Luson (in Trentino Alto Adige, Italy), is an Italian comic book author. His first professional boards - erotic stories - date from 1968 and they allow him to finance his architectural studies in Venice. He abandoned his profession as a sculptor's assistant and published Genius for Vanio editions. Then come the adventures of Jolanda, pirate woman. In 1983, his career took a new direction with Le Déclic which instantly made him one of the masters of erotic comics. In 1987, Hugo Pratt became his screenwriter for An Indian Summer, an experience they repeated seven years later with El Gaucho. An Indian Summer won the Alfred for best foreign album in 1987. Manara continues a regular production of erotic stories with Albin Michel editions but he also participates in other projects, such as the illustration of portfolios or the Borgia series with the screenwriter Alejandro Jodorowsky.
In 2016, he won the Saint-Michel Grand Prix for his entire work4 and, in 2019, during the Angoulême international comic book festival, an exhibition retraces his work.
