Here is a great example of a Antique Gunstock probably from the Mohawk Nation on North America/Canada.

A reluctant sale.

This has been in my possession for at least 30 years.

Acquired it in Honolulu Hawai'i.

Length.                    76     cm.

Length of steel.   11.5   cm.

Width of steel.     6.5    cm.

Weight.                    0.9   Kg.

As you can visibly see from the images it has a worn patina.

The leather strapping has clear signs of discolouration due to age.

Also areas where the leather strapping once existed.

There are some very small holes near the handle. Cause unknown.

The metal tacks show discolouration due to age.

The feather is genuine, unfortunately it is damaged (As shown in image Nos: 23 ).
