An early model Konica Hexanon AR 50/1.4 prime lens. Iris has six rounded blades, and is clean/responsive. Auto stopdown works (tested on an Autoreflex body,) and as such automatic aperture selection should work on Sp bodies. Being an earlier model, this lens has a minimum aperture of f/16, half-stops on the aperture ring, and is labeled "EE" as opposed to "AE." The focus ring turns smoothly and consistently, and the rubber grip is tight and in good condition. When this lens came to me, the filter ring was bent; however, I have reshaped it within reason using a lens vice and can get the nameplate out, so some filters should fit and you should be able to perform maintenance on the lens. There is some internal dust; however, I have not disassembled the lens to remove it.

Konica lenses are notable for their somewhat novel designs and high quality. The 50/1.4 is quite sharp starting around f/2.8, and has excellent out-of-focus rendering. Interestingly, it has a concave rear element and a very strong positive meniscus on the front element. Being an "AR" series lens, it has quite nice antireflective coatings which are in good condition on this copy of the lens.
