Corks: The cork-lining in crowns on auction may be intact, partially intact, missing, discolored, stained, fragmented, replaced, or loose. If you are particular about the cork, then ask questions before you bid.
Skirts: I don't usually photograph the side(s) of a crown. I usually try to take the time to show a really bad spot, but sometimes time is short and I overlook it. If it is really important to you on a particular crown, ask for additional images.
Reflared: Some crowns I receive in collections and trade stock I've bought have been re-flared. If you are the winning bid on a reflared crown, simply request in the note section of your Paypal payment and I will re-cap your crown on a bottle to eliminate the reflaring, keeping in mind a slight concaveness in the crown could result.
Domestic (in the U.S.) S&H is $4.95 no matter how many auctions you win this week IF you wait for a combined invoice and pay on ONE invoice.
--To Canada is $15.99 up to 8 ounces (approx. 45 cork caps or 60 plastic-lined caps). I make an extreme effort to keep orders under 8 ounces through lightweight packing, however, sometimes it's just not possible.
--To Canada, 8.1 ounces up to, but not exceeding 2 pounds it is $22.99.
--Other non-U.S. addresses, that I ship to, S&H is $18.50 up to 8 ounces (approx. 45 cork caps or 60 plastic-lined caps).
--I do not ship to China or Peru and may require tracking to addresses in Italy.
--I reserve the right to require tracking on international shipments over $50 or shipments to countries/regions with inconsistent delivery.
I will combine S&H on all auctions ending on the same day or same week IF you wait for a combined invoice and pay on ONE invoice. I will combine smaller lots with larger lots at the S&H cost of the larger lot.
Shipping Time:
FYI: I typically ship in 2-5 business days, however, I am now advertising my S&H time as 15 business days just to give me a buffer for those occasions where I have 100-200 auctions ending on the same week. I still work full-time so shipping out that many auctions will take me more than five evenings, even working late nights. Some packages will ship in a couple business days, while others may ship in 5, 6 or possibly more business days.
**Unless 15 business days has elapsed after payment, PLEASE DON'T CONTACT ME ASKING WHEN I'M GOING TO MAIL YOUR ORDER. It only takes up my time that I could be using packing orders. I don't use drones, or have an army of elves or ship using Amazon Prime. I pack all orders myself with great care. I live in a rural area and I drive nine miles to the post office three times a week. If the above shipping program is not satisfactory for you, then please don't bid.
To get a revised invoice with combined S&H simply contact me through the Contact Buyer messaging system and request a total. Then, I will send a new invoice with combined S&H.
Or, simply wait while I methodically go through the completed auctions and send you a combined invoice.
