CONDITION:  Excellent overall condition with very minor gold wear.

Porcelain plate produced in Germany by the Carl Thieme Dresden studio in the 1890s.  It was produced especially for the retailer
Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia.  The plate is 8 1/2 inches in diameter.  The porcelain has a cut out or reticulated border that is quite delicate.  An amazingly delicate pattern of tiny, hand painted flower garlands covers the entire plate.  It is enhanced with fine, raised gilding.  The rim is trimmed with gold.  This is a superb, decorative plate that is a little treasure.  #E601
