These are definitely NOT genuine and original Mafex versions although they are pretty good! I suppose there is a chance they are factory seconds that didn’t pass QC.

They display pretty nice still. Come with tonnes of accessories including many, many webs, multiple heads and hands etc. They have the magnetic hands and feet which are definitely magnetised but your mileage may very on how successful that effect is. It’s a very temperamental display option (even on genuine Mafex!)

I think the heads all look pretty decent. This is a fantastic little lot for customisers or people who want spare parts or alt head options or just want to check out a cheap version of the Mafex releases.

I think they scale GREAT with Marvel Legends but the Venom (both the KO and the Mafex) are a little under-sized for the character and definitely supposed to be the earliest version of Classic Venom.

Here are the issues!

- NO STANDS

- Venom’s head is a little loosey goosey and can come off pretty easily

- Spider-man’s left knee pops out (see pics)

- Spidey has a bit of a stuck right shoulder joint; you can still get a bunch of poses out of it but I don’t feel like it’s the full range of Mafex motion that you get from his left side.

All in all, if you set these guys up, preferably with STANDS (lol, sorry), they will display great. And it’s a great deal on just checking out the build of these figures without finding authentic (and now very expensive) releases or paying MORE for the KO CHINA VERSIONS (which I strongly suspect these to be)
