Up for grabs is a neat vintage Edmund Scientific Corporation Pocket Microscope. It is in super condition. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.

The Edmund Pocket Microscope was (and still is!) a useful device for field studies, and for inspectors in machine shops and manufacturing, etc. Also, for hobbyists, students, and teachers.

The telescope is 5" when closed and 6" when extended fully.  The "20 40 60" numbers on the microscope are the magnifications that the microscope will provide at the various settings (e.g., 20x, 40x, 60x)++. See the first photo for reference.

The company started in 1942 and in 1943, started selling complete microscope and telescope kits. In the 1960's the company branched out into toy microscopes and telescopes for children.

This microscope has been around a while but is still fully functional and has minimal wear for its age. What a great little thing to take with you on walks or to add to your collection.

Thanks for looking. Offers welcome.
