Beautiful Danbiere Paris Cameo Pill/Trinket Box, circa 1890 - by Paris artist T P Danbiere  

Oval in shape and made from aesthetically beautiful amber resin type material

Intricately engraved decoration of grapes around the actual pill box

And also engraved on the outer top of lid around the cameo figure 

The cameo as a raised classical female figure [raised from her seating in the lid]

Approximate measurements: The oval base measures 5.7 cm x 4.6 cm.

Height from base to top of Cameo figure 4.5 cm [height to top of lid excluding Cameo figure is 2.7 cm].

Height of actual cameo figure is 1 cm from top of lid 

Signed Danbiere Paris on metal inset to base

In very good condition – a lovely pill box [age-related small nicks which in my view form part of the character of this 120 years old piece; and some scratching to inside of lid]
