Very rare liard from the Principality of Orange, struck in imitation of the very common liard from the Dombes de Gaston, they take up the motif of the central G but are easily differentiated by the legends: 



 - on the reverse: soli deo honor et gloria" instead of "tudomine mea spes" for the Dombes

-on the obverse the titulature "Guillermus....avr" instead of Gastonus etc 

also note the presence of the central ringlet on the reverse;

Attributable to Guillaume IX or Guillaume-Henri, see on this subject copies 950 of the VSO Inumis 4 and 901 of the VSO Inumis 12.
