87,000 miles.

Purchased in 2021 after being in storage for 28 years, last registered in 1995.

 Restoration completed 2022/23. car was completely stripped and refinished in its original color of cherry red (136)

Engine.

Engine completely overhauled, sent to the machine shop to be cleaned and measured. Cylinder bores all within specifications and were honed. The crankshaft was also measured and within specifications this was then polished.

The cylinder head was completely overhauled, cutting the seats and lapping the valves.

Adjusted all valve clearances.

The engine was assembled with new standard piston rings, new standard rod and main bearings new oil pump and new gaskets and seals,

New engine mounts.

Ignition system.

New distributor cap, new, ignition wires, new distributor pick-up and new spark plugs.

Gearbox/clutch/drivetrain 

Disassemble and overhaul gearbox, fitted new bearings and synchro rings with new gaskets and seals. 

New clutch assembly and clutch cable,new gearbox mount, New driveshaft coupling and universal joint.

Fuel system, 

Drain and flush fuel tank, new fuel sender unit, fit new fuel pump and fuel filter, new fuel injectors and seals, clean all fuel lines, replace flexible rubber hoses and fuel filler hose.

Cooling system

New radiator and water pump,remove heater assembly and fit new heater matrix, heater valve and new metal heater hoses, fit new thermostat, new hose kit, new fan belts,antifreeze.

Brakes

New brake master cylinder,

New front and rear brake discs and pads,

Overall both front and rear brake calipers with new seals and dust covers,

New front and rear flexible brake lines,

New handbrake cables.

Suspension/wheels

Powder coat original Cromodora wheels,
