New York City gift shops offer hundreds of different collectibles to visitors from around the world. Prior to 9/11 these gift shops offered World Trade Center collectibles. The World Trade Center was one of the wonders of the world and a huge attraction for visitors of NYC. The views of NYC and the surrounding areas were breathtaking! And, the views from the Windows on The World restaurant made lunch or dinner an experience like no other! We tell you this from personal experience.
Consequently, these vintage collectibles were discontinued after the terror attack. Original pre-9/11 World Trade Center collectibles have become sought after with values dramatically increasing due to demand and an ever decreasing supply in the market. Be wary of re-issues, reprints and reproductions of true pre-9/11 collectibles that have no value.
