Jnat VTG Shohonyama 539g
Japanese Natural Whetstone Sharpening Stone JAPAN c406

Thank you for your interest in my items.
I am selling a lot of used items from the Showa era (~1989).
Many of the mines have already been closed down and are now being molded and sold from a limited stock of raw stones.
For example, there are only a limited number of companies that store and sell rough stones from the Nakayama mine (including the Kato mine), but they are sold by companies that do not own the rough stones and use the "Nakayama" printing.
The "Nakayama Mine" (including the Kato Mine) that I sell is purchased directly from the rightful owner.
There are also vendors who sell grinding stones from China as "Sho-honyama".
Many of the used stones I sell are excellent stones that were sold during the heyday of natural grinding stones in Kyoto.
These stones were used by professional barbers, carpenters, and chefs.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you very much.

Obtaining a sharp and long-lasting blade with a medium-hard stone is not as easy as with a hard stone, but acquiring this skill opens a new stage.
Please challenge yourself on your way to Takumi(Meister).
