Here we have a very rare original 1965 1966 Ford Mustang and Shelby GT 350 heater delete vent (fresh air) box.  The heater delete option came from the factory on some Mustangs destined for South Florida, Southern Texas,Hawaii and on special performance vehicles such as the Shelby GT 350 (especially the "R" models) so original ones are extremely hard to come by.

This listing includes the RH (passenger side) fresh air duct and door assembly and the two original "J" bolts and nuts to attach it. A repair was done to the box to reattach the door which had broken off some years past however it was done properly and is now stronger than before (see pics). One mounting bracket was also reattached.

These are all original parts (not reproductions or service replacements) so they will look correct and fit properly.

It is molded in the correct horsehair fiberglass.The unit has been cleaned and cosmetically detailed and is ready to install.  The door opens and closes easily. A new foam door liner and top seal have been installed. If you are restoring or replicating a Shelby GT350 R model or want to give that performance look to your early Mustang interior here's your chance to grab up a rare, hard to find item.
