The charming indie comedy The Rachel Papers (1989) follows Dexter Fletcher as he’s about to begin an illustrious academic career at Oxford. His only distraction is that he’s determined to bag an older woman before he turns twenty. Fortunately Dexter’s smart enough to define “older” as Ione Skye. The course doesn’t run smooth, though, as Dexter has to deal with his own ex-girlfriends and Ione’s boyfriend James Spader.
