The VX-7R is a miniature 3-band FM transceiver with extensive receive frequency coverage for VHF and UHF two-way amateur communications. It covers the 50 MHz, 144 MHz and 430MHz amateur bands at 5W output, and it also transceives on 220 MHz at 0.3W.
But wait, there's more. The VX-7R offers receive coverage of the AM and FM broadcast bands, the VHF AM aircraft band, HF shortwave bands and a wide range of commercial and public safety frequencies.
Oh, and it is submersible, rated at 30 minutes at a depth of 3 feet.
