Zajaczkowski family of artists and all very talented and some more famous or known than others. To me it is about the painting itself. This reminds me of the painting i sold by Zofia Stryjenska which captured the soul and beauty of deep and very well-respected tradition of Polish people. The music, the food, the drinks, the wonderful way of dancing and fashion. So here in this one we see something very similar. We see Polish gypsy people or Roma people in their gorgeous traditional clothes somewhere in the woods of polish hills are sitting on the grass in summertime at dusk two women and a man on violin in playing position. The younger girl laying on the ground has sadness in her eyes which the artist captured really well, and her friends are there to support her. Of course, the man on the violin is playing for her in hopes to cheer her up and lift her spirits. Just a beautiful scene and the painting is telling the story the way it is.Traditionally and fashionably very accurate and for those who understand what music can do to pain and those who are traditionally respectful towards their own people and country will love this piece. This painting was done between the years of (1890-1920). Thank you all for visiting Dr.drakulsantiques.
