This is a LGB American Diesel Sound Unit 65003, a pre-built G gauge for diesel locomotive . It was manufactured in Germany in 2002 and is in like-new condition (C-8). The unit comes with sound effects and is ready to go.

One wiring component looks used. Unit appears to be new.
