I have a long history of shooting large format, from 6x9 to 11x14. I currently (sadly due to age) shoot only 4x5 and 6x9 in large format, so I am finally letting go of those items that do not serve me anymore. I used these holders on my 8x10 Deardorff (sold a few years ago) with a 5x7 back, and later on an older 5x7 field camera (also gone). They are lightweight, the dark slides move smoothly, and the light-traps are effective. The painted wood shows some wear, but nothing to affect the function. Despite their age, these wooden holders are far lighter than their more modern--and more expensive--plastic counterparts. Please ask questions if you have any. Thank you for looking!
