BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE LATE 19th/ EARLY 20th c QI’ING DYNASTY CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK PANEL/ WALL HANGING WITH 8 IMMORTALS, 184 cm LONG!

Up for the auction is a beautiful antique from the late 19th to early 20th century Qi’ing dynasty Chinese embroidered silk wall hanging depicting 8 Immortals on a landscape with blooming trees and flowers.

Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures! Used to be framed and covered with glass that’s why silk changed its color but the change of color happened everywhere equally so it’s not a big deal and it doesn’t affect the display. On the edges we can see that the silk used to be somewhat blue color but now it’s all gray with olive tone.

The beautiful embroidery measures  (183 cm) long x 30” (76.2 cm) wide.

CONDITION: GOOD / FAIR ANTIQUE CONDITION WITH SOME FADING AND FRAGILITY TO THE SILK MATERIAL. ÇOUPLE OF SMALL STAINS HERE AND THERE. PLEASE, CONSIDER THE VERY OLD AGE OF THE PIECE. FOR CONDITION REPORT PLEASE, REFER TO THE PICTURES

This embroidered wall hanging makes a beautiful display and will be a valuable addition to any collection!
