This FENTON "PERSIAN MEDALLION w/GRAPE & CABLE" exterior large eight ruffle ftd. "FRUIT BOWL" is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass; This FENTONsmokey/powder blue carnival glass "PERSIAN MEDALLION w/GRAPE & CABLE" exterior large ruffled "FRUIT BOWL" is massive and very beautiful, a lot of glass for your money; I may add that this FENTON "PERSIAN MEDALLION w/GRAPE & CABLE" EXTERIOR LARGE EIGHT RUFFLE FTD. "FRUIT BOWL" is an early FENTON (no marking) vintage antique carnival glass "FRUIT BOWL" that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty surely cherished this piece of FENTON antique glass according to the condition this large beautiful "PERSIAN MEDALLION w/GRAPE & CABLE" exterior "FRUIT BOWL" remains in today, it did not matter which angle or position I photographed this large ftd. "FRUIT BOWL" the COLOR and IRIDESCENCE is shown on (all) the photos taken and that is what carnival glass is all about................COLOR and IRIDESCENCE; This large American beauty is a (2) pattern piece of carnival glass and a very choice piece of carnival glass to own, the main pattern inside this "FRUIT BOWL" is the "PERSIAN MEDALLION" pattern and the secondary pattern on the outside of this American beauty is the "GRAPE & CABLE" pattern, this smokey/powder blue carnival glass ftd. "FRUIT BOWL" is just the way it left the FENTON ART GLASS COMPANY many years ago, this deep ftd. "FRUIT BOWL" is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches and NO glass staining; The carnival IRIDESCENCE is the satin finish having no damage to the ball feet, no damage to the collar on the bowl bottom, no damage to the ruffle top edge around the top of this beauty and the COLOR and IRIDESCENCE is just what we all want on every piece of carnival glass we all have, this one is a beauty and I'm glad to offer it for sale, all three grape bunches are shown in the photos having no damage and the large "grape leaves" are stippled; I want to mention that this particular "FRUIT BOWL" that I have here does have the early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass production having stress marks, straw marks and sometimes air bubbles and glass splits are seen inside the glass of the early carnival glass production, these characteristics I just mentioned to you are and can be seen inside the glass of this "FRUIT BOWL" that I have here, I assure you this American beauty is just the way this "PERSIAN MEDALLION w/GRAPE & CABLE" exterior "FRUIT BOWL" left the FENTON ART GLASS COMPANY many years ago, please any questions at all please e-mail me; You can see this FENTON "PERSIAN MEDALLION" pattern that is shown and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by "Edwards & Carwile" a book on carnival glass, the "STANDARD ENCYCLOPEDIA of CARNIVAL GLASS 7th EDITION, on page #273; The carnival glass IRIDESCENCE is very even and beautiful over this deep ftd.
