This is a very rare and unusual phalaenopsis orchid that is in double spike currently. The original species name is known as art nouveau. However, this plant has a very rare mutation where the flowers can’t make up their mind on what color pattern they want to be. Some flowers have the originalart nouveau markings, while the others display a half face mutation With some of the nouveau pattern being on the left side and the other is on the right. This is such an amazing orchid, and it appears to be on the new flower buds coming in as well. This would be an amazing orchid to add to your collection and even put into orchid shows. This mutation seems to be pretty much stable as it has done this repeatedly in the past with the same half face markings appearing from time to time on different flowers.

The plant stands over 15 inches tall from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tallest spike. She blooms profusely and is a vigorous grower.
