THIS  PARTICULAR  ITEM 

For your consideration is a very early Mamod TE1 Live Steam Tractor made in England in the 1960s.

Soon after that, Mamod modified the tractor with a reversible system.

The spirit burner and the early model valve were discontinued while the early model whistle was replaced.

This is an old tractor and it is far from perfect. 

It has been air tested (video) but I do suspect a pin hole.

I tried to locate the possible pin hole but could not locate it.

Consequently I doubt it would run on steam without first fixing the possible leak.

It is in average cosmetic condition with a bit of rust and paint flaking here and there (photo).

Still... it is a very early 60+ years old collectible.

You will need some 90% alcohol and distilled water is highly recommended.

Condition :

This very old Live Steam Tractor is in average condition.

 It has been air tested (video) but I suspect a pin hole in the boiler.

 It is pretty complete with the exception of the original box.

 I suspect it would not run on steam without some work.

 I would rate it a C4/C5... Average.
