Dating to the  early 1930’s, these iconic sconces are beautiful examples of art deco design. Made by Lapco (Lighting Appliance Company) of New York City, they are shown here in a color page from their 1930 catalog.  Their stylized cascading rays are reflective of skyscraper influence. The "Sunburst" product line is well known and highly prized by collectors.

These sconces have been restored and refurbished and are ready for contemporary installation. The metal casting has been professionally refinished in triple chrome plate. The original porcelain sockets have been retained and interior bulb contacts have been cleaned and polished.  New ivory plastic sleeves have been provided (may be substituted with white or black upon request). Original rotary switches have been refurbished with new like kind. All other wiring is new.  New contemporary mounting hardware consisting of nickel caps, threaded pipe nipples and crossbars is included as shown.

Approximate dimensions are as follows:

Backplate: 8" High X 4" Wide
Total Height: 6"
Depth from wall: 4"

NOTE: There appears to be a casting flaw where the arm joins the body on both sconces. While not readily apparent, I prefer to err on the critical side in my descriptions. Please refer to the final photo provided here.

General and critical photos have been provided and are a part of the description for this offering.
